Solve a robotic murder secret in escaped detective game Lockheart Indigo

There's been a murder in a grand old mansion. You, a private detective named Beatris, have arrived to investigate, and the process of doing that is more interested than you might expect.

Lockheart Indigo feels like a combat-less JRPG. In situ of turn-supported battles, you encounter fight-like interrogations, where you flip facts at, and utilisation unscheduled abilities on, potential suspects. The character art of these suspects is expressive, full of character, although it's a bit of a shame that much of the environmental artwork is monochromous.

That issue digression, I DO like the way this looks. It's got a knock-down pixel nontextual matter aesthetic—someplace between the GameBoy People of color and the GameBoy Advance—and it's set an intriguing sci-fi world where android robots are identical very much a thing. While the writing could do with other pass (and there's still time, as the game is currently a self-governing alpha version), the innovative blend of detective adventure and JRPG should represent enough to keep goin you invested with in this sci-fi mystery.
